ABOUT US
Custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and stone surfaces. Built in-house across 36,000 sq ft of production, for homes, businesses, and institutions in Maryland and the Washington DC metro area.
St. Michaels Fine Woodworking and Cabinetry builds custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and stone surfaces from our 21,000 sq ft Easton, Maryland facility. Stone fabrication runs through Exact Tops, our stone fabrication division, at our 15,000 sq ft Baltimore facility. Wood and stone under one roof, with one point of accountability from drawings through installation.
General contractors and institutions rely on us for architectural millwork and casework. Our work is installed at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, DCPS Petworth Library, Oxon Hill Fire Station, and Washington College, on projects with GCs including Gilbane, Corenic Construction, and Chiaramonte Construction.
Homeowners and designers come to us for custom kitchens, libraries and offices, built-ins, closets, wall beds, countertops, and bench-crafted furniture. Visit our display center at 327 N Aurora St in Easton, or meet with our Georgetown design office, serving Washington DC metro clients by appointment.
Every project, residential or commercial, gets the same shop, the same standards, and the same finish quality.

Our Story
St. Michaels Fine Woodworking was founded in 2015 with a simple idea: build it right, simplify the process, and deliver the promise. What began as a boutique cabinet shop working on referrals has grown into 36,000 sq ft of production spanning custom cabinetry, architectural millwork, and in-house stone fabrication through our division, Exact Tops.
That growth was earned one project at a time. General contractors and institutions trust us with millwork and casework for museums, libraries, schools, and public facilities. Homeowners and designers trust us with kitchens, libraries, and furniture they will live with for decades. Both get the same shop, the same standards, and one team accountable from drawings through installation.
The values have not changed since day one: integrity, excellence, and doing what we say we will do. If you have a project in mind, we would like to see it. Send us your plans and we will tell you exactly how we would build it, what it will take, and when we can deliver.
